Prayer and Reflection on Scripture in 3D

Looking for a different way into exploring Scripture? 
Why not come and try something completely new?

Come and spend time looking at Scripture through sculpture. We will first of all look at a selection of bronze sculptures and allow ideas and images to surface in the quiet. After a period of wondering,  we will turn our thoughts to stories, verses and images from the Bible and see if any connections arise. The third part of the reflection will be to try to express something of the connection in words or images. We might try writing a poem, making a collage or working with colour. No artistic  expertise is required. The morning will end with some time to share any reflections with each other.

Toddy Hoare trained as a sculptor, served as a soldier, spent 30 years as a rural parish priest, illustrates scripture with prints and sculpture, and now reflects on life by writing poetry.
