El Camino

Pope Francis has announced that 2025 is to be a Holy Year whose theme is ‘Pilgrims of Hope’ – so where better to travel than down one of the greatest medieval routes in Europe ‘The Camino’.

Along the way we will explore the history and scenery, the art and the architecture of both of the routes across France and then across the Pyrenees into Spain, arriving eventually at Santiago.

Sophie Weston taught on the Medieval Churches certificate Course at Leeds University and has led study days on ecclesiastical topics and taken groups to churches in Rome, Santiago and Romania.
