Compassion Meditation

Earlier in the pandemic we were encouraged to set aside a time to ‘clap for carers’ as a way of keeping them deliberately in our mind and hearts at a special time each week.

The invitation is to use this regular monthly 30 minute meditation in a similar way.  No experience is necessary as you will be gently guided through this special time during which you will be invited to quietly and compassionately hold in your heart:

  • those who are currently ill and suffering from COVID
  • healthcare workers and all others who are valiantly caring for those suffering
  • your own self as you continue to walk through this experience in your own context

Please do invite anyone you think might find this a helpful regular monthly space to be warmly welcomed and supported with no other requirement than to ‘arrive’, breathe and open to the gift of compassionate presence.

 Facilitated by Siobhan Burke.
