Belonging: Remembering Ourselves Home
‘The world has never been more connected, yet people are lonelier than ever. The absence of belonging is the great silent wound of our times.’
Most people think of belonging as a mythical place, and they may spend a lifetime searching for it. But what if belonging isn’t a place at all? What if it’s a skill that has been lost or forgotten? This reflective day will explore some of the ideas of the book Belonging by To-ko Pa Turner, looking at how to find a deeper sense of home in who we are and to cultivate a sense of greater belonging in the world.
