Meetings last about an hour and a half, and include a short talk (either live or recorded), followed by 25 minutes of silent meditation. There is an
opportunity for questions and discussion afterwards, as well as help with the practise of meditation when required.
Christian Meditation as practised by the early desert fathers was
re-discovered by John Main and brought back into Christian living during the 1970s. The practise is supported by the World Community for
Christian Meditation and there are now groups practising this “spiritual art” all over the world!
