News Update Autumn 2008
The Autumn 2008 programme of events is now available on the website to either download, if you have braodband, or you can view it on the website here
As you will see we have a packed programme with popular speakers coming this Autumn, so you are advised to book early.
Barbecue/Social at St Bede's
We are holding a social evening at the centre on 11 September 2008 from 5pm - 8pm. We are hoping that many of our friends and supporters will attend this informal gathering. Barbecue and soft drinks will be available. If you wish to have a little tipple, you are free to bring yur own!
If you would like to attend, please contact the office to let hem know you will be coming. Everyone is welcome. No charge - but donations would we warmly received.
Staff Changes
As you may know, Dominika will be on maternity leave from 1 September 2008. We know she will keep in touch but we will miss her whilst she's away. Everyone here wishes her a safe delivery and we insist that St Bede's is the first place she visits with the new baby! We have just appointed Jennifer Fosten to cover her until at least June 2009. She will start on 1st September so if you're in the vacinity on an evening please call in, say hello and make her feel welcome.
Those of you who have been attending either the PSD course that has just finished, or the drop-in and EASY art sessions will have already met Linda Pearson. We are pleased to announce that she will be joining the team on a fixed term for one year due to her success in raising the necessary funds to cover her salary until 31st August 2009. Linda will be happy to meet you any Friday afternoon when she's in the Centre to run the drop-in. Do please come and say hello. If you know of anyone who would benefit from a bit of peace and a 'cuppa' do please bring them along too.
Personal Spiritual Delvelopment (PSD) Course 2009/10

Summer Closing
Don't forget, we will be closed from 5pm Thursday 31 July until 9am Monday 1st September. The Administrators will be in from time-to-time to check messages, post and emails, but may not get back to you until we re-open.
