A short course aimed at those who are looking to deepen their understanding of prayer.

Personal and Spiritual development [PSD]
This is a longer developmental course. As well as exploring prayer, PSD introduces Ignatian spirituality in more depth and other topics related to personal spiritual growth.
A course is currently running. Details on future course will be available from Easter 2018.
York Ignatian Spiritual Accompaniment Course [YISAC]
A two-year course for those who wish to learn the basics of Spiritual Accompaniment.
Applications open for the next course starting in September 2018.
Deadline for applications is Friday 27th April 2018
This ecumenical course aims to provide a foundation for learning to accompany others on their faith journey. It is based on the Ignatian tradition, drawing its inspiration from the Spiritual Exercises of St Ignatius of Loyola. It is suitable for those who already have some background in spirituality and faith accompaniment.
- The underlying principles of spiritual accompaniment
- Life issues and spiritual accompaniment
- Practice of the skills used in spiritual accompaniment
- Application of the Spiritual Exercises of St Ignatius
